Hello everyone!
The card I'm sharing today is very simple to make.
I'm on the naughty step at Less is More this week
for getting carried away and entering too many challenges with my last card :(
I hope I can redeem myself with this one :)
The card base and all the little bits and pieces are cut out using the Silhouette.
I glued the boat to the bottom circle then added the frame circle on top with foam pads.
I added a split ring to the charm and put it through the loop in the 'y'
The dots are embossed using a Cuttlebug border embossing folder.
Richard was passing by as I was taking the photo and asked 'Oh is that a porthole?' lol
That wasn't my intention ....
I'm off now to light the fire,
it's freezing in the house today.
Thankfully no more leaks though :)
Thank you for visiting today!
Have a lovely day and take care.
Sarah xx

"Less is More"
This is a really stunning card. Like the modern, clean lines and I love the sailing boat and feeties.
ReplyDeleteActually I was browsing the craft sites for ideas of what to make my mom for mothers day. I bought my mom a little Tracfone LG500g qwerty keyboard phone ($20,$7/mnth for service) for mothers day but it's not personal enough. I made a little orange felt pouch for the phone but now seeing your little boat I hope you don't mind if I copy your idea and sew a felt or fabric boat on the cell phone cover.
Thank you for inspiring us readers.
I love all on this card.
ReplyDeleteThe embossed dots, the little ship, the charm in the Y, and so on...
A perfect clean and simple card!!
