My handmade teddy bear!

Hello again!

Oh boy a week does fly by, doesn't it!

With the children off school for Easter, I haven't had a lot of time to craft or catch up with what everyone else is up to, so I do apologise for my lack of commenting.

On my last post I said I was going to a sewing retreat to make a teddy bear.

Well here she is.....
unfortunately she's naked as I haven't her clothes finished yet!

Although it's hard to tell from the photo, she measures 34 inches long!

I'm not sure about her expression here...

Her arms are sewn in one complete strip and wrapped across her back.
I added one of my little handmade labels before sewing the arms on.

a little peek of her dress...
I have to finish sewing her bloomers, jacket and hat
and then I'll post the finished pics.

We had some wonderful news yesterday :)
My brother and sister in law in Australia welcomed their new baby girl to the family.
They called her Hannah :)

Well, that's it for today!
Thank you so much for visiting
and I'll be back tomorrow
with my scrapbook page for the new challenge at Creative Craft World.
It's a fab sketch this month!

Take care :)
