Another scrapbook page

Happy weekend!

This is the last of my projects using CCW's June kit.

It's a scrapbook page of my youngest daughter.
I've kept it very simple and I've even added journaling in my own handwriting...
Not something I do very often as I don't like my untidy writing!

I sponged the edge of the frame with Mister Huey's misting spray in Calico White.
Then used American Crafts Thickers to spell the words 'cutie'.  I added clear adhesive gems around the circle frame and to the little flower which is punched with a Stampin' Up Boho Blossom punch.

In the photo below you can just about see the two dashed cut lines about an inch from the edge.
I did this with the Silhouette to frame the page.

The banners and heart were also cut with the Silhouette but could be done by hand or with punches.

For the journaling I used this template by 'The Crafter's Workshop' to draw the lines and I used the holes in the scallops to evenly space the row of adhesive gems on the top of the layout (you can see them in the first photo).

I'm panicking a bit now as there is less than 2 weeks until the end of term here and I still have teacher cards and gifts to make!
Any ideas are very welcome :) lol

I hope you're not washed out with this terrible weather.  The only consolation is that it's perfect crafting weather!
Thank you visiting my blog today and for the lovely comments you've been leaving.
I will be round to visit you all later :)
As tomorrow is Saturday, I'll be back with my next GDT card for Sweet Stampin'
Take care
Sarah xx

A tremendously beautiful layout! I don't think your handwriting is untidy in the slightest. It's nice to see handwriting when the page is about your daughter - who is a sweetie!

This is so cute. I love the white space with the line of bling. I don't like my writing either but it adds such a personal touch to the page. I think it's lovely. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Frosted Designs.
