Good Morning.........Well here goes!..........It's my first contribution to the DT at Creative Craft World and it's for the February scrap map challenge. I love this sketch and while I'm still getting to grips with 12x12 pages I enjoyed the challenge :) Why not pop over and add your entry to be in with a chance to win a prize this month.
As Valentine's day is this month, you'd think I'd use a picture of hubby....well, I would if I had any decent ones lol. So I've used the next best thing - my little ones :)
Everything on the page is cut out with the Cameo but could easily be cut by hand. I popped the red heart on dimensionals and covered it with glossy accents.
For these hearts I added a cross stitch to the centre of each to represent a kiss for each child :) The doodled dots were added with an Inkssentials white pen.
These hearts are layered and hand stitched down the middle. I think they look a little like butterflies...
Thank you for visiting today!
Take care :)

ooo I love the colours Sarah, it's a fabulous layout. The cameo seems to be an excellent tool for scrap booking :0)

Such gorgeous details on your layout Sarah - I love the butterfly-style hearts! Isn't Richard just a bit disappointed he didn't get to feature?! (I think I might know the answer to that question!) Love to all, Vicky x
