Wedding Day scrapbook page

Good Morning :)

Happy Saturday to you,  I hope your weekend is going well.

As it's the first Saturday in the month we have a new scrap map for you at
Creative Craft World.

This is my page

As it's our 17th wedding anniversary tomorrow I thought I would make a wedding page this month.
The time has flown by and it seems like yesterday we were walking down the aisle!

The papers are Bo Bunny 'Persuasion'.....

The pebbles are Prima and I thought the colours went well with the papers.

For the left hand corner of the page I punched tiny flowers with SU Boho flowers punch and added tiny pearls to the centres.
My little nephew and neice were pageboy and flowergirl and they are all grown up now.
My nephew has just graduated as a pharmacist!

The leaves/flourishes and the border were cut with the Cameo and I added tiny pearls among them.

This is the scrap map for this month and we would love you to enter your layouts here.

The challenge runs for a month until the 4th August.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend
and I'll be back soon :)

Take care!

Altered wedding photo album

Hello again! This is the wedding album I made to go with the card from yesterday.  The flower paper is Bo Bunny - Alissa and the spot paper is Doodlebug. The bracket is cut from black card using a Tim Holtz on the edge die and the words 'Our Wedding' are cut with the Cameo (dear joe font). To cover the join in the papers I used white seam binding and baker's twine. The little flower is punched with SU's Boho blossoms punch and a little Papermania button added to the centre.
I forgot to take a picture of the album before I started but it was similar to the one at the bottom of this post here .

I made a box for the album with 2 sheets of 12x12" white card using the Woodware groovy duo scoring board (it's brilliant for making boxes).

The title and scrolls were cut with the Cameo and the box is tied with Baker's twine. The flowers are punched with SU Boho blossoms punch and a tiny pearl added to the centre.

You wouldn't believe how quiet it is here today, the children are back to school (not too happy about it either) and Richard's back at work....it's a little bit lonely!  Ah well, it'll not be for long :)
Yesterday while clearing the study I found some lovely stuff I'd forgotten about so I'm off to finish the study first and then have a wee play.

Hope you have a great day wherever you are, and thanks for visiting!

Wedding card using a digi stamp

Good morning!

It's Richard's last day off work so I'm making the most of having him at home and getting him to help me clear out the study.  I used to craft in there but outgrew it and moved to the garage. Unfortunately it's the remnants of my craft stuff that are clogging it up (probably stuff I don't even need!) but I can't let him know that.... You know it needs doing when you find your daughter doing her homework on the floor!

Here's the card for today -
A wedding card
This lovely little Henry and Zoe image is from Digistamp Boutique and it's coloured with Copics.  To frame the image I embossed a line around the card with a scoring board.  The senitment is computer generated - Elephant Hiccups font, and cut out with the Cameo.

It's hard to see in the photo but there's Glamour dust on the flowers, bottom of the bride's veil and around the Just Married sign (which is also paper pieced to add dimension).

Thank you for visiting today :)
I'll be back tomorrow with the wedding album I altered.

Messy Rabbit Wedding Card

Insert

Layered Flowers

Box for the card

Hello again!
I have been so bad at updating this blog :(  Mum and Dad came home from Australia last week, their cases bulging with craft goodies for me. So I haven't been crafting much.....just drooling over it all before tidying it away ~ lol.

What I have made though is this wedding card.  I love Messy Rabbit stamps and coloured this pair in with Distress Inks.  I did all the stitching by hand using the Tim Holtz clear ruler to pierce the holes first.  The line along the bottom is a bit wonky where the ruler slipped and I didn't notice until it was too late....oops!  The doily lace edge around the circle was made using the Martha Stewart doily lace edger punch (I saw a tutorial on how to do it ages ago but can't remember whose it was - sorry!) The flowers were embellished with liquid pearls and the leaves with stickles glitter glue.

Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for visiting :)

Edited to add
The card was too raised to fit in a regular envelope so I made a little box to put it in.  I usually just print an insert for inside my cards but this time as it was going in a box I decorated the inside too.  The heart at the top is stitched (using a papermania template) and the flowers & leaves on the bottom corner are all punched.

Supplies
Paper - Basic Grey Perhaps
Stamp - Messy Rabbit
Colouring - Distress Inks~frayed burlap, tattered rose, victorian velvet, peeled paint, shabby shutter
Punches - Martha Stewart Doily Lace, Woodware Grass ~yellow & green sizes
Flowers - Kaisercraft & Green Tara
Sentiment - computer generated
Cream organza ribbon
White Opal liquid pearls & Stardust stickles

Wedding Acceptance

Butterfly with stickles glitter glue on the wings

Mum and Dad are still in Australia and a Wedding Invitation has arrived for them (I'm keeping an eye on their mail!) so Mum has asked me to make and send an acceptance card to the bride.  I've kept putting it off (hadn't a clue what to make) but now the deadline is getting close I just had to do it.

I think I have a pink/green theme running in my cards at the minute :o

The butterfly and swirls stamps are from Unity Stamp Company.  The inks I used are Bundled Sage & Spun Sugar distress inks and the sentiment is computer generated - Kayleigh font.  I rounded all the corners of the card with the WRMK corner rounder 1/4".  After stamping the butterfly and cutting it out I rounded the wings slightly under and lifted them up. To add some glitz I added a small amount of Star dust stickles on the flower pattern.  The ribbon is ivory organza tied in a small knot and I finished the card with some small pearls.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Sarah xx

Ps. Mum ~ Hope the card is suitable!!

Finally....

I haven't really got a clue what I'm doing but here goes.....

I've been looking at other people's blogs for ages and would love to do one of my own but every thing else always got in the way. So here I am on a Saturday morning, should be doing the ironing but am starting a blog instead. Here's hoping it goes well and I can keep it updated!!!

This is a long overdue card, I just finished it last night and will have to deliver it next week.
Sorry Keith and Valerie!

Messy Rabbit couple stamp
Memory box papers
Ribbon - Spare parts
